Meet your Maker Patrick Raymond has been working with wood since his high school shop days. In his early 20’s, Patrick was a journeyman carpenter, after completing a four year apprenticeship program. While working as a carpenter and pattern maker, he designed and made custom furniture. Patrick was also an avid musician, playing guitar and other string instruments.
Because of his past career, Patrick has the knowledge to choose the woods which will make a full-toned and rich sounding instrument. As a full-time luthier, Patrick has the skill and creativity to help you choose you next wonderful musical instrument.

During his early thirties, Patrick shifted gears and obtained a degree in Technology Education from Ohio University. During his teaching career, Patrick was inspired to make a guitar to use in his musical career. By studying and visiting other guitar makers, and having the tools ready and available, Patrick was well on his way. Patrick has been building fine, handcrafted instruments for over 15 years, as well as doing repair work on acoustic instruments. Over the years, Patrick has designed and crafted 6-string and 12-string acoustic guitars, which have been custom ordered. His guitars have traveled the world and the guitars he has donated have raised funds to support charitable organizations. He continues his musical career and his exposure to various instruments and this give’s him the “edge” in the market. Because of his past career, Patrick has the knowledge to choose the woods which will make a full-toned and rich sounding instrument.
